Okamoto Natural Farm Daylily Garden

Colorful daylilies abound

For just two weeks of the year, the daylily garden of Okamoto Natural Farm is open to the public. There are approximately 5000 daylilies of 800 varieties in the garden. It is not particularly big, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in vibrancy! When the flowers are in full bloom, the garden bursts with color. You can buy seeds from the flowers on demand - find a shade of daylily that you like, ask the farmer to give you a few seeds! And you can find some unique ones as they have created quite a few breeds of their own by crossbreeding the daylilies themselves.
