Old park trying to reinvent itself

We stopped off at Moroyama park while visiting Lake Kamakita recently and were surprised to see it has gone through some changes lately. For one, it has a brand new playground. Although small, its quite nice and it is built on sand so good for young kids. The outdoor aqua park closed down quite a few years ago, but surprisingly they have left all the facilities there, in a state of ruin. But I was intrigued to see information at the park stating that they are now growing lotus in the pools in summer!? You can bet I will be back this summer to take a look at that!
