Marsh-side farmer's market and event space

In 2021, Kashiwa City's Michi no Eki Shonan, the roadside station on Teganuma Marsh, expanded with a new 40,000 square meter space called "Tento" The distinctive eaves shelter an outdoor performance space and farmer's market. In front of Tento is a wide lawn where you can stretch out and let kids and pets play. The market gets very busy on weekends as it attracts people to the food trucks, restaurants, and bakery. There is ample parking and you can also rent bicycles to ride around the marsh. Across the road is Manten no Yu, an onsen with another farm stand and a foot bath.
