Day hot spring in family hotel

If you're staying in Tateyama City accommodation that doesn't have a communal bath, this is a cheap and pleasant. The hotel is right on Tateyama's Hojo Beach and promenade. The hotel itself looks a little rundown but has good reviews on Google Maps. I visited for about 90 minutes to soak in the sodium chloride spring water. It was relaxing and the wide, curved window affords views of the ocean and Mt. Fuji on clear days. I didn't need a reservation. I simply walked in empty-handed and the reception staff handed me a towel. Note that if you stand up in the bath, you're visible to the road below! Immerse yourself up to your shoulders for privacy.
