Rustic farm cafe
Hilltop cafe, is as the name so accurately implies, a cafe on top of a hill! But more than that it is a beautiful rustic farm cafe. The Hilltop farm, a fruit picking farm, also features in the review section below. Hilltop cafe is in the rural town of Namegawa in a farming area. There isn't a lot around the cafe (apart from the blueberry fields and an antique shop), but that is part of the charm. The menu is mainly western food with freshly baked blueberry desserts in season. And in winter and spring they have fresh strawberry homemade treats from their strawberry farm. The area is quite difficult to get to by public transport so traveling by car is recommended. There is free parking for about 30 cars.
