One of the best places for deals on import goods!

Since coming to Japan, I've become a huge a Costco fan. The Sendai Costco, actually located about 45 minutes away from downtown, is quite new and very clean. The layout is similar to other Costco branches but the seating in the food court is a bit lacking. Of course, like other branches, the menu is the same, cheap and delicious! The Costco gas stand is also a bit cheaper than non Costco locations, so fill up while you're there. Costco sells in bulk, so it's great for families! They offer a variety of imported goods making it a great place to find some familiar items from back home. Many of the imported items have their original English labels still in place and all of the price labels have English on them, although the print is a bit small. Saturdays and Sundays are extremely busy, but weekends are also the best time to get free samples. Samples are offered during the week too but the variety is much larger on weekends.
