Nice and Refreshing
After a June 2023 visit to Shobutahama beach in Shichigahama, we stopped by this place to get some takeout ice cream before our long walk home. We were delighted to see that take out ice cream was absolutely available on the menu that was posted outside the front door, so we didn't even have to go into the restaurant to figure out whether or not we could get what we wanted. When we stepped in, we were delighted by the decor which seemed very comfortable and clean while also kind of beachy. We look forward to going there again with the rest of our family. The ice cream was delicious, well prepared, quick and came with some fantastic ginger biscuits and a sprig of mint. It was very delectable and much higher quality than we were assuming for a place that's located only a one-minute walk from the water. The containers were not great for walking and were more meant for sitting and eating. We found a place just in front of the shop to sit and enjoy our uce cream. We definitely would recommend it and we'll go again, perhaps before going to the beach next time, or after we've been hosed off properly.
