Simple family restaurant

Kuidokoro Satomi Shiraneten is a family restaurant in Niigata, and it has a fairly standard lineup of menu options to choose from -- things like soba, ramen, sushi, tempura, and the like. They've also got a good variety of kids options, which are reasonably priced and more suitably portioned than their adult-sized counterparts. They've also got the comfy low tables which I always found to be more convenient when eating out when my kids were smaller. There is plenty of easy on-site parking, so there are no issues finding a spot. Fairly long opening hours, too (11am until 9.30pm daily).
