Pancakes that make you happy!
During our girls day out in Harajuku we were looking for a café or restaurant a little bit away from the crowds of Takeshita Street. We ended up walking through the back streets with many family house to a pancake shop in Omotesando: Shiawase no Pancake or A Happy Pancake. The restaurant is located down on the B1 floor, but inside it is design very green and freshly, so you don't miss the windows. Because it was Saturday lunchtime we had to line up for a while. Shiawase no Pancakes has a Japanese and English menu and even most of the signs around the restaurants are written in several languages. The staff was really friendly. At the menu you can find different pancakes set and even monthly changing specials. The sets are quite big and you can get full easily. What I especially liked was the open kitchen, so through a window at the waiting area you can watch how the pancakes are made. It was really delicious there and I will definately go back again.
