Fruit picking farm at roadside station

The Masakado fruit farm is by the Arakawa Roadside Station. They have a strawberry picking farm and a vineyard. The latter, is right by the main area of the roadside station. The strawberry picking farm is close by too, but on the other side of the picturesque Chichibu Tetsudo train tracks. We were there for the grapes during silver week. They grape picking normally goes on until early October, but the Obachan told us they are finishing up this week for the year. The weather seems to have played a large part in the condition of fruit and subsequently fruit picking this year. Strawberry picking generally starts in January and runs until around April or May. Free parking. There is a toilet at the roadside station.
