Temple that shines during hydrangea season

My photo is from a previous year's visit, but if you're looking for a pleasant hydrangea season spot in Niigata, Jigenji is a nice one! There are some hydrangeas lining the main building area, and they usually also decorate the hanachozu with hydrangeas. If you're a history buff, negotiations were also held here during the Boshin War.
