Kabukimon (Oshi Castle)

Secret umbrella sky

There is an old walkway from Oshi Castle to the Gyoda City Hall. Its called 'Kabukimon' in Japanese, which is the word for 'a gate with a crossbar' in Japanese. But in Gyoda it also seems to be the name of the walkway. Its a particularly nice walkway with flower beds and hanging flowers and for a few months of the year, an umbrella sky. This is the fourth year of the umbrella sky, but it has managed to stay somewhat hidden and off the tourist trail.
