Unfortunately closed down
Unfortunately this branch of Kurazukuri Hompo closed down, because the whole of Seibu Hon Kawagoe Pepe has closed - permanently, in January 2026. However, good news for this particular store - it is a popular and common Kawagoe store and they have branches all over Kawagoe. You will find at least two reviewed below.

For Kawagoe souvenirs
Kurazukuri Hompo (or Honpo) is one of Kawagoe's famous confectionery stores. They have branches all over Kawagoe: I've reviewed at least two others which you will find below. This branch is conveniently located in PePe which is connected to Hon-Kawagoe station. So if you need to pick up souvenirs synonymous with Kawagoe you can do so before you board a Seibu train, in this branch! Its not as big as their other branches, but it has a good selection all the same.
