Flowering buckwheat plants

The Yamamotoyama Soba Field is home to scores of buckwheat plants, and they flower two times a year -- once in July and once in September. It offers some pretty scenery with the flowers and the mountains and trees in the background. There's a small parking lot that can accommodate about 10 cars on-site, and if you visit during the week you shouldn't have any issues finding a spot.
