Smile D is a bakery in the Tokamachi area of Niigata, and my favorite thing to get from here is their croissants -- they're perfectly buttery and flaky! They've also got some delicious raisin bread loaves which are sliced on the spot and work great for a quick breakfast with some butter! Worth popping by if you're in the area.
