Karma is a Thai restaurant in the Joetsu area of Niigata, and they have some great value lunch sets for 1000 yen that include dishes like Thai-style yakitori, vermicelli noodle dishes, pad thai, or Thai grilled pork. They're only open from 11am until 3pm though (and closed on Tuesdays), so just keep that in mind if you're planning to stop by.
