The Harashin Koide branch of the Ginza Cozy Corner cake chain is a nice option in our local area when you want a sweet treat. They typically have a range of standard cake options, plus some fun seasonal offerings like this new Beni Haruka Mont Blanc for the sweet potato fans. Prices for individual cake slices are fairly close to the 500 yen mark most of the time, but they are a decent size and typically enough to split with someone else. Because this store is at a larger complex there is a ton of parking outside as well.
