Charming, photogenic, iconic bridge
Megane Bridge is a charming spot in Nagasaki that makes for a lovely photo opportunity. The reason the bridge is called Megane Bridge is because of the reflection that casts onto the water - making the appearance of two circles, just like glasses. If you appreciate architecture it's a nice bridge in that regard too. It was built back in the 1600's which to me is incredibly impressive in itself. We visited in the early morning (pre 8am) and it was very peaceful and tranquil with only a handful of other people around. It's a nice easy walk from Nagasaki Station.
