Expo '70 Commemorative Park

This is a huge local outdoor park with an entrance fee (260 yen for high school and older, 80 yen up to junior high school) and separate fee for some spaces inside the park. You can spend the whole day there without even entering the Tower of the Sun, the museum, or other temporary events. We enjoyed the gardens and blooming flowers in spring. You can find sort of expensive cafes and festival type yatai inside the park, but it's okay to bring in your own food and drinks. Access by car, bike, or monorail station, less than 30 minutes from Namba Osaka. English signs are sparse, but there are park maps in English, Korean, and Chinese.
