Little Court Coffee

Trendy coffee shop with great brews and friendly service

Little Court Coffee is situated not far from the Karakoro Art Studio in Matsue - it has picturesque views over the city's canals and you can often see the tourist boats passing by from the windows. They have coffee blends from all over at the store, from Ethiopia to Guatemala, Tanzania, Colombia and more. The interior of the store blends both traditional Japanese (with tatami mats) but modern tables and a row of counter seating with bar stool seats by the window. The coffee here is fantastic, the service is friendly, and the prices are pretty reasonable, at around 350-400 yen for a coffee or latte. The only real downside to me is that on weekdays they don't open until 10am - I usually like my coffee fix earlier than that to get a head start on the day. They're also closed on Wednesdays which is a bit of an unusual closure day! Other than that, 5 stars!
