Convenient and pleasant regional airport

Oita Airport has to be one of my favorite regional airports. It’s small but it has everything you need. Check in was super speedy which took the stress out of the traveling process! There’s a lovely observation deck area where you can watch the planes arrive and depart if you need a way to kill some time. There’s also a good range of omiyage stores, simple but pleasant and tasty restaurants, and clean bathroom facilities. All in all this was a great airport experience and if I was flying to Kyushu again I would route my travel through there if and when possible.
