Beppunuma Park

Famous sakura spot in large park with great playground

Beppunuma is known in Saitama for its gorgeous cherry blossoms. The main display is in the main park, but there are some others in hiroba on the east side and in the picnic area behind the playground. The playground is on a hill with lots of different type of equipment to engage children of all age. The park is very spread out and there is a public road that runs through it splitting it in half. Due to the size and style of the park there are roads running through it so you can drive around it. There are also a number of small car parks so that you can park near the area you want to enjoy. There is a large central car park too. The park has a number of features including a Japanese garden, water features and a number of different picnic areas and walkways. The park is open 24 hours but the car parks are only open from 6.30 am to 7 pm.
