Yozan Gama - Ceramic painting in a wonderful setting
Mr. Kawaji at Yozan Gama is the only ceramic artist in southern Kyushu. Not only you can directly purchase wonderful ceramics, you can use also paint your own piece and create a unique souvenir. There are cups, mugs, and plates available to make your own drawing. Afterwards, your artwork will be baked and sent to you! The atmosphere is great and the people are super friendly. The location at the foot of the Kirishima mountains is wonderful and there are two horses tending to the costumers. The store is also a café and even if you are not into ceramics, dropping by and enjoying a tea or coffee is highly recommended.
