Large park near Disney
Takasu Seaside Park is a large, free park (but parking is charged) relatively near Tokyo Disney resort and right beside Sogo Park. It is within walking distance of at least three hotels. The park has many different allures such as playgrounds for kids, barbecue area suited to a group of families and fishing, to name but a few. Regarding the latter, reportedly octopus fishing is popular in this park.

Public park by Tokyo bay
Takasu Seaside Park is located right by the waters of Tokyo Bay, and it's a nice spot to spend some time outdoors if you're in the area for Disneyland and you've got early risers. There's a lot of play equipment that caters to children of different ages, which is convenient if your kids ages run the gamut.

Takasu Seaside Park
The Shin-Urayasu area has many new parks close to the Tokyo bay, which are perfect for families or if you want to run away from the crowds of the city. The Takasu Seaside park can be reached by bus or by car. There is a huge parking slot, since most of the visitors are coming by car or bicycle. The park area is really huge. You can find three different kinds of playgrounds for every age on a very spacious green field. There is also an observatory on a hill, from where you have a great view over the area and the ocean. Also it is allowed to do BBQ at the ocean side, which is really great. Golf fans can enjoy a small game at one of the small golf fields. The area is really huge, but also amazing hot in summer, since there are just a few trees.
