Old school photo prop
The Odaiba Statue of Liberty has been around for years, long before Instagram was a thing. So it wasn't erected as an Instagram spot, but thanks to it, it gets a steady stream of visitors. Honestly, it is probably the most underwhelming place I have ever visited in Tokyo! However, that area of Odaiba is very scenic and if you are in the area, you may as well get a photo alongside it.

A bit of New York in Odaida
Nothing really interesting other than taking a photo next to the replica of the iconic statue of liberty. Afterwards, you can stroll around the seaside park and enjoy the sunset. Still have plenty of time? You can check out restaurants and shopping malls nearby.

A Little Liberty
This is one of the icons of Odaiba, but it is also surprisingly small. When you visit, you can see a lot of people gathering to take photos of it and with it, usually with the Rainbow Bridge in the background. The view is nice, but there is not a whole lot to do here after the quick photo snap. Honestly, it is also not really a landmark that you would print and stick onto the wall. So overall, it is a nice place to stop by, but is not THE stop to go to.

Classic fun photo op in Odaiba
The Odaiba waterfront area is one of my most-loved places in Tokyo to just go for a stroll, in part because there is so much to do and see. Just about everyone who lives in Tokyo knows about the Statue of Liberty replica, and it's a fun photo op when you have visitors in town (hopefully we'll have them again, after COVID settles down!). There are some cherry blossoms that bloom nearby in spring, so you can usually get a photo with the statue and the blossoms - it's really pretty!
