Try the Shiro Noir
Komeda Coffee are another chain that you'll find scattered about Japan, and they have a fairly simple menu. Various coffees (as you may have assumed from the name), desserts (they're famous for their Shiro Noir danish, but also serve up other sweet treats), burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, croquettes and more. I've only ever been here for coffee and their shiro noir pastry, which is known as their signature dish. It's essentially just a danish with some soft serve piled on top, drizzled with maple syrup and garnished with an imitation cherry. Might sound like nothing special, but for some reason the crispy crunch of the danish paired with the smooth cold soft serve just seems to hit the spot. The coffee here is good too, my fave is their Vienna Coffee which is topped with whipped cream for that extra indulgent feeling! The Akiruno Store was my local when I was living in Tokyo, and they're open 7am-11pm seven days a week.
