Best way to print sewing patterns
The seven eleven's copy machine doesn't allow me to print without a border, so all sewing patterns come out skewed. I have tried several different ones, all supposed to be for a4 size paper, but the machine says it isn't the right fit therefore can't fit to page. Does anyone else know of a better place to print off pdf patterns? could i have a copy shop print them and deliver them?

Not sure how to solve your issue, but I've worked in the printing industry and pretty much all printers will print with a border. The 'bleed' edges are that way because the borders have been trimmed off. The best thing I can think of is to create your PDF file to print on A4 paper with borders, at the proportions and size you want. After printing it out, trim the borders off. If you're downloading the patterns and they don't have a border included... not sure. If the border part trims off the edges of the pattern without resizing, you could just draw it back in? It sounds like the size of the PDFs aren't actually A4, which you could double check from the file properties on your computer.

At my printer at home, I can decide whether to fit the pdf to the paper size (which will produce skewed sewing patterns on occasion) or instead, enter the printing size. If you set it to 100%, it should not resize the pattern and instead some parts my be cut off. But you should be able to easily fill those in afterwards. The setting should be available at a seven eleven's printer, too.

I'm honestly not much help because I can only do basic stuff at the 7-11 printers too. I haven't printed much at them lately other than photos occasionally...but I know when I lived in Tokyo there was a print shop in our neighborhood, where you could get any kind of document printed the way you wanted it. Not the most convenient of options, and likely to be more expensive than the 7-11 printer, but could be a last resort option.
