Do you see dekotora in recent years?

I feel like in the last 20 years I see dekotora less and less. The only place I see dekotora regularly now is at two festivals I tend annually where they have a dekotora display. But the number of dekotora participating in those events also seems to be dwindling in recent years. So my question; do you still see dekotora in the wild, so to speak? Or do you only see them at special events?

    When I first moved here I also feel like I saw them a lot more, I honestly hadn't thought about how often I'd seen them until your question...and then on reflection I realized that I hadn't seen any in quite some time. Kinda sad that they seem to be dwindling, I think they're such a fun part of the culture here.

Do you wear kimono? When and where?

In what environments have you worn kimono, hakama, or other traditional clothing? My only kimono experience is Heian period garb - basket hat, veil, and hakama - at a regional festival. I'm curious about daily kimono wear. Have you found a community or school that trains you in kimono wear? How much time do you dedicate to dressing?

What do you MOST associate with Oita?

Seen as there was a good response to the same question for Ibaraki AND today is Oita Prefecture day (although they don't celebrate it), what is the first thing that comes to mind when I say "Oita Prefecture"?
