Ben and Jerry Ice Cream

So this is very random, but I really want to try Ben and Jerry's new Netflix and Chilled ice cream, but I am not sure if I can find it in Japan... Have any of you ever seen it here? If so, where? Please help my ice cream craving XD

I tried searching on their website since they have a store locator, but each time I put in Tokyo, for instance, it's just reverting back to the nearest place in the States that sells it. I will keep my eyes out, though - from the flavor description online it sounds amazing...hope they release it here!

I've read somewhere that Ben and Jerry's is giving up their business in Japan. There was a time when I used to spend about 5000 yen a month on Ben and Jerry's.

This is so random but today on Reddit, someone posted about possible getting a divorce and someone commented that he should go get Ben and Jerry ice cream to feel better. I’ve been craving it all day. And now I’m seeing you post from 2 months ago and now I’m mad again.

I believe that it’s’ pretty good so I can pretty recommend this. I know that there are people who will not really place it as a strong contender for top ice creams but make sure that you’re doing well here. Make sure that you’re getting a flavour that you like

Favorite eco-friendly Japan brands

I posted this morning about an initiative that repurposes parts from retired Osaka Metro train cars and turns them into bags, chairs, and more. I'm also a big fan of the Nozomi Project, who make jewelry items with broken pottery found after the 2011 earthquake/tsunami. Do you have any favorite Japan-based brands that have a focus on upcycling or eco-friendliness?

What's a Japanese autumn tradition you've really come to love?

I mentioned in a blog yesterday that one of the things I love about autumn is the yakiimo warmers that pop up in convenience stores, supermarkets, and farmer's markets at this time of year. What's an autumn tradition that you've come to love during your years here? It could be anything...food-related things, autumn festivals you really enjoy, or possibly something else entirely!

Autumn travel trends in Japan, and where you might opt for instead

I saw a press release this week from the travel platform Agoda about travel trends in Japan for autumn. The biggest jumps in searches since last year were for Kagawa Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture, Hyogo Prefecture, and Hiroshima Prefecture. Have you visited any of those places in autumn, or maybe even lived (or currently living!) there? Any places you might opt for instead?

Job-related platforms that get you attention?

I'm on LinkedIn and get some positive attention from employers. I'm also on Hello Sensei, a platform for English tutoring. Occasionally, I get bites from employers. I get that we, City Cost correspondents, are in different fields. But which outlets do you use to broaden you employement prospects?
