Where is the best place to take Cherry Blossom photos?
Everybody is taking cherry blossom photos now, but I know of the big places like Yoyogi Park, do you have any other ideas of where are good locations to take photos with the cherry blossom trees this weekend?
I am a vegetarian who loves being Economical, Eco-friendly and anti-capitalist in Tokyo.

Hama-rikyu Gardens in Tokyo usually has some nice blossom around the main pond where you can get a shot of the blossom, the gardens and the background of skyscrapers and office buildings. Not an unknown cherry blossom spot but I think it's not one of the "headliners" like Yoyogi or Ueno. It's been ages since I've been in spring but I seem to remember Zojoji Temple has some good opportunities for cherry blossom photos, with the temple and Tokyo Tower in the background. Kasai Rinkai park in Edogawa has a load of trees and you can get a nice shot of the blossom with a giant ferris wheel in the background. It's a popular park but also huge so you can usually find a quit spot to enjoy the blossom.

Here's hoping the weather cooperates this weekend! Some places that aren't famous have great landscapes. Higashi Ayase Park starts at Ayase Station, then continues north of the Tokyo Budokan has a meandering stream and pine trees with cherry trees. Yanaka Cemetery Sakuradori has over 100 trees. And cats. Aoyama Cemetery has over 200 cherry trees.

We've passed the season now, but just in case anyone needs this for the future: https://www.nippon.com/en/guide-to-japan/sakura001/sakura-100-japan%E2%80%99s-best-blossoms.html This has the 100 best cherry blossom spots in Japan (yes, there's a list for that!) and it covers I think basically every prefecture. They're some of the more well known spots across the country, but if you want places with a big wow factor this is it. Not sure if all of them get super crowded as I haven't personally visited every spot on the list, but it might help with some inspo for folks in coming years.
