Where to get Bintang beer in Tokyo?

Does anyone know where you can buy Bintang beer (from Indonesia) in Tokyo? I've tried a Kaldi and they didn't have any, and also one or two expensive supermarkets to no success. Looking for shops, as opposed to restaurants. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't know any shops, but I'll keep an ear out... but on October 15th and 16th there is an Indonesian festival in Shibuya ward. You could email them and see if they will have it or better still if they know where you can buy it! Their public address is indonesiafestival2008@gmail.com Also, you might be able to pick up some at one of the Oktoberfests. I know they are heavy on the German and European beer, but the good ones have some world beers too. There's one in Odaiba September 30th to October 10th.

@Saitama Good to know, thanks. I like those festivals down by that stage near Yoyogi Park. If they don't have Bintang I'll be surprised. I've still got a few shop options that I haven't tried yet, so I'm not giving up hope.

Did you try Rakuten? They usually have everything.

Found em! Picked up a couple of bottles from a Kaldi in shopping mall Ario in Kameari (Tokyo). About 270 per bottle!

What do you most associate with Saitama?

November 14th is Saitama Prefecture Day. I am curious, especially as I live there, what is the FIRST thing that comes to mind when I say "Saitama Prefecture"? About Saitama Prefecture Day; https://www.city-cost.com/blogs/BigfamJapan/wmeY2-living_saitama

What do you MOST associate with Oita?

Seen as there was a good response to the same question for Ibaraki AND today is Oita Prefecture day (although they don't celebrate it), what is the first thing that comes to mind when I say "Oita Prefecture"? I have written a post about Oita Prefecture day with what I most associate with it, but I won't write it here so as not to influence your answer, but you can read the post here; https://www.city-cost.com/blogs/BigfamJapan/Mnv34-living_oita

Japanese names you love?

I blogged yesterday about this year's top baby names in Japan, and there was quite a focus on nature and calmness in the most popular picks. I was wondering if there are any Japanese names you love for the meaning behind them. Maybe you have a friend, coworker, or even family member with a beautiful name. I'd be happy to hear what it is, and why you like it so much!

Fears in Japan that you didn't have in your home country?

I've written a number of blogs here on City-Cost about how bears are a real worry in my area these days, and it's something that I didn't have to concern myself with in my home country. I know people talk about snakes and spiders in Australia being deadly (and yes, there are some types that are), but they're not typically going to come and attack you unprovoked. Also, it's a lot easier to outrun a snake or a spider than a bear ;) I'm curious about the rest of you, if you have fears here that maybe weren't present in your country of origin. Let me know in the comments!
