ACCESS: TRAINS TO CHOFU

Shinjuku to Chofu Getting from Shinjuku to Chofu takes only around 15 minutes by express train. From Shinjuku Station all Keio Line trains, other than the Keio Liner, stop at Chofu Station (look for trains bound for Hashimoto, Takahatafudo, Keio-hachioji or Takaosanguchi).

Keio Line Special Express trains are the fastest way to travel between Shinjuku and Chofu taking only around 15 minutes. Chofu Station is the second stop on this service.

Fares for all Keio Line trains between Shinjuku and Chofu are 240 yen one-way.
Kichijoji to Chofu Getting from Kichijoji Station to Chofu Station takes around 30 minutes and requires only one transfer at Meidaimae Station.

From Kichijoji Station take Keio Inokashira Line Express trains bound for Shibuya (around 10 minutes). Get off at Meidaimae Station and change to Keio Line trains bound for Hashimoto, Takahatafudo, Keio-hachioji or Takaosanguchi. Keio Line Special Express trains take less than 10 minutes to reach Chofu, but all Keio Line trains going in this direction, other than the Keio Liner, make the stop.

Shibuya to Chofu Getting from Shibuya Station to Chofu Station takes around 20 - 30 minutes, requiring just one transfer at Meidaimae Station.

From Shibuya Station take Keio Inokashira Line trains bound for Kichijoji. Get off at Meidaimae Station and change to Keio Line trains, again bound for Hashimoto, Takahatafudo, Keio-hachioji or Takaosanguchi, all of which stop at Chofu, except the Keio Liner.

Fares for this route from Shibuya to Chofu are 240 yen one-way.

ACCESS: BUSES TO CHOFU

Kichijoji to Chofu Both Odakyu Bus and Keio Bus operate bus services from Kichijoji Station to bus stop Chofu Station North Exit. The journey time for these buses from Kichijoji to Chofu is around 30 - 40 minutes.

Fares for Odakyu and Keio bus services from Kichijoji to Chofu are 210 yen or 220 yen one-way, depending on the route.
Mitaka to Chofu Odakyu Bus operates a service from Mitaka Station to bus stop Chofu Station North Exit. The journey time for this service between Mitaka and Chofu is around 25 - 30 minutes.

The fare for this Odakyu Bus service from Mitaka to Chofu is 210 yen one-way.
Shibuya to Chofu Odakyu Bus also operates a service between Shibuya Station and bus stop Chofu Station South Exit. The journey time from Shibuya to Chofu is around 90 minutes.

The fare for this Odakyu Bus service from Shibuya to Chofu is 220 yen one-way.

ACCESS: TOKYO AIRPORTS TO CHOFU

Narita International Airport to Chofu Highway buses depart all terminals at Narita International Airport and drop off at bus stop Chofu Station South Exit. The journey time from Narita airport to Chofu is around 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes. Fares are 3,400 yen (adult) and 1,700 yen (child) one-way.
Haneda Airport to Chofu From Haneda Airport (Tokyo International Airport) highway buses depart the international and domestic terminals and drop off at bus stop Chofu Station North Exit. The journey time from Haneda to Chofu is around 1 hour to 1 hour 35 minutes. Daytime fares are 1,440 yen (adult) and 720 yen (child) one-way.

We’ve updated our multilingual tourist map of Chofu City in anticipation of the upcoming Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The multilingual version makes it easy to visit the Jindaiji Temple area and spots related to GeGeGe no Kitaro, both of which are popular with foreign tourists.

The new version also includes a walking route from Tokyo Stadium (Ajinomoto Stadium) to Chofu Station so that visitors can enjoy the city before and after watching sporting events.
