Palm tree paradise
As the previous review mentioned, Riviera Zushi Marina really does feel quite California-esque with its plethora of palm trees. There's quite a bit to do in the area, including several upscale eating options including Malibu Farm (another nod to California!) and Ristorante AO. Not really budget-friendly areas to dine, but if you're looking to splurge for a special occasion then it's great for that.

A taste of California at Zushi Marina.
Good enough to take a day trip within one hour away from Tokyo by Car or Train. We went there by car, but the parking fee is ridiculously expensive. So instead, we just drove around to get the feel of the resort. It has a yacht harbor, a hotel, a restaurant, and cafes. The sea breeze and a row of palm trees along the street make it feel like you are in California. Oh, what I like about this location is the sunset, superb! If you are lucky, you can get a glimpse of Mt.Fuji too! Other than the beautiful beach view, everything is pricey.
