    Really Amazing Vietnamese Sandwiches

Thao’s is a Japanese run Banh Mi shop located really close to Motosumiyoshi station in Kawasaki. I mention it’s Japanese owned because if you ate it you might be mistaken for thinking no one outside of Vietnam could make Banh Mi so well. You may even be like me and wish at least one worker there was Vietnamese to give it some credit. No such luck though, but as soon as I ate one, I knew I didn’t need any more credit. Whoever runs Thao’s gets it, and I’m grateful for that. The seating is all outside and could probably fit about 3-4 groups, this wouldn’t be such a problem except that finding a place to eat in peace in Japan, especially during bad weather could be really difficult. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and even have one or two seasonal offers. The two most important things are probably that they actually seem to have a vegetarian option at all times, and they don’t skimp on the flavor. The sandwiches might be considered small if you’re one of those people who like to pop your jaw when eating but I think two would constitute a meal for almost anyone.
