The hot dogs are where it's at!

If you're a fan of the humble hot dog, this place in the Harajuku area of Tokyo amps it up a notch. San Francisco Peaks is a trendy looking cafe that also has offerings like hamburgers, onion rings, pancakes and waffles - but to me, the true star of the show are their hot dogs. They are predominantly pork hot dogs - although they do have other meats on their menu too (beef, chicken, lamb, and venison) but it's the sheer variety of them that wins me over. From tastes like sun dried tomato and mozzarella, mango and jalapeno, and red hot chili pepper (can't help but sing every time I see that one on their menu), there is something to suit just about anyone's tastebuds. A good time to go if you're trying to save a yen or two is during their lunch specials, where you get better value for money.
