Take away iced green tea

Fukuroya is located right beside Kawagoe’s landmark bell tower. The shop is popular for their selection of green tea confectionery. Their iced green tea that can be purchased from a kiosk window on the street used to be their best seller, but with a brand new Starbucks just a few doors down that may change. We personally like their ice-cream, which can also be bought from the kiosk window. They sell vanilla flavour and sweet potato flavour too. Fukuroya is about a 25 minute walk from Hon-Kawagoe station. All the tourist buses as well as some public Tobu buses (numbers 01, 02, 03, 04 and 09) pass close to the shop. The tourist bus stops nearby outside the Kawagoe Festival Museum. The nearest bus stop on the regular public buses is Ichibangai bus stop. No parking available, but there are some coin parking lots nearby.
