Nice spot for self-made Okonomiyaki
Okonomiyaki is my favorite food and my husband and I are often trying out new Okonomiyaki restaurants. We just went to Okonomiyaki Waraeru in Machida togehter with my monther-in-law for a lunch meeting. It was a Sunday and the restaurant got quite crowded during that time. They have several set menus and an all-you-can-eat plan. My husband and his mother went with Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki which is one of the few dishes made by the stuff at the counter. Most other dishes you can fry by yourself at the table. I went with cheese okonomiyaki. There are several toppings you can add as you wish for a certain extra price, so I also added some mochi. It was fun to make the okonomiyaki yourself and the women at the other table enjoyed their monjayaki. We also ordered Jaga-Butter which was really delicious. The restaurant is located about 5 minutes away from Machida station and is opened every day from 11:30 to 23:00.
