Old fashioned Okonomiyaki
The cook welcomed us and we got seated at the counter as there were only two of us. If you come with a group, there are tables with hot plates and tatami space for families. It’s cozy. We each had a beer which came with otoshi, this time simmered fuki and bamboo shoots. Gojinka serves many variations on okonomiyaki, monjayaki and yakisoba. We ordered two okonomiyaki -pork with mochi, and mentaiko. They arrived all dressed since we were not at a hot plate table. You’ll have to dress your own with nori, katsuobushi and sauce if you’re at the table.
