Free green tea while you rest!

I would say that it is a fairly standard parking / service area except that they do have a unique selling point; green tea. I am not even a green tea fan, but I do appreciate any little gesture a shop or service area makes to stand out among the crowds. They have a self service machine in the restaurant where you can help yourself to water or green tea, but they also have an event two Saturdays a month where they hand out local green tea, for which Sayama is famed. At this very moment in time, February 2017, they have hoarding on the exterior of the main building of the parking area for what I would imagine is fresh lick of paint or some other sort of exterior maintenance and/or face lift. It does not affect business currently, as they are open for business as usual. The building is quite small, as is the parking area with only 116 car spaces for regular sized cars and 50 for large vehicles. They have ten toilets for men, fourteen for women and there is one wheelchair friendly toilet. They have two parking spaces for people with lower mobility or in wheelchairs. There is a small self service restaurant inside and a fast food kiosk outside. There are vending machines and gacha-pon machines. There is an information area and a smoking area. The shop is quite small, but they have a good selection of souvenirs from all the surrounding prefectures and areas on the same highway. The parking area is open 24 hours, but the restaurants and shop are open from 7 am to 9 pm, seven days a week.
