Since moving to Japan, I've picked up a new hobby... darts. It's a great and easy way to meet new people and socialize. I'm not very good yet, but since I've started to play a lot more recently, I wanted to buy my own set. I was recommend Bat Darts by a friend. The shop is well stocked with dart sets, accessories, cases, and even cards for the various machines. However, it is really crowded and can get cramped going in with a group of people or just when the shop is busy. The staff is knowledgeable and will help you out if they can, despite the limited English ability. If you want to check out the products before you buy, they have tester dart boards in the back. Every time I've visited, though, I've never seen them empty. Usually it's a bit intimidating because the people throwing for fun are really good... Puts me to shame definitely! But it's all in good fun and the atmosphere is great. I just wish it were less crowded.
