Urth Cafe Daikanyama

A California favorite in the heart of Tokyo

If you've ever been to Los Angeles before you've probably heard of Urth Cafe, a popular eatery that started there. Tokyo has two locations (one in Omotesando and this one in Daikanyama) and one recently opened in late March out in Yokohama as well. The Daikanyama store has a range of food and drink options, including a plentiful range of sandwiches (the cilantro chicken breast with pesto is really good) as well as pizzas, hearty salads, omelets/scrambled eggs, soups and more. It all leans towards "healthy-ish" stuff so if you're eating with that in mind you'll have plenty to choose from. If you'd prefer to indulge your sweet tooth they have a bunch of fruit and whipped cream topped waffles as well. The drinks menu is long and has coffees, teas, bubble tea drinks, juices and smoothies, and frappucinos. Depending on the day and the time it can get busy - weekdays definitely are the time to go rather than weekends if you can swing it. They're open from 10am until 8pm 7 days a week.
