    Interesting snack/sweet shop in Jiyugaoka

You may or may not know that the word feve means bean in French - and this little shop in Jiyugaoka specializes in snacks that are healthy for you. They’ve got a range of products on offer, most of which incorporate either beans or nuts - which is rather novel. Feve (like many places in Japan) also seems to be on the special occasion bandwagon - when I visited the store here they had a number of different Valentine’s Day inspired treats on their menu rotation. There were love heart shaped pink chocolates accented with cashews, peanuts and pumpkin seeds,l - which looked unique to say the least - and other varieties made with white and dark chocolate with different toppings. Their savory snack blends include things like peanuts mixed with tomato chips and a spicy curry flavor - a little weird sounding, but it grows on you. They also do larger omiyage style gift boxes of their products.
