Ramen in the heart of Yokohama Chinatown
It was a cold, windy day when I stopped in here for some ramen. There were a few different places within the area (this is Chinatown, after all!) but this one had the cheapest prices and it was also pretty empty. The orders are taken via a vending machine. There are a lot of different options to choose from, so take your time. Also, take advantage of the set specials! I ended up ordering, then telling the server that I didn't want meat. So, he gave me a free egg because I wasn't getting meat! That almost never happens in Japan, which was amazing! The Cokes they serve were also from the glass bottle, so it was cool. The flavor was really good, and I definitely will be back here for the price and the convenience of location. The server was really nice, and even after it got a bit busy, there was enough space where I didn't need to sit next to anyone (so my bag had a seat, basically!)
