    Best Reason to Visit Chinatown

When I first went to Chinatown in Yokohama it was one of the most disappointing experiences my whole time living in Japan. Yet as the years go by the area improves little by little. But the one place that made me start going to the area regularly was Tsukikoya. Tsukikoya is a roaster as well as a small cafe. One of the best things about them is that they will try to brew any of their coffees any way you like. This is rare enough with normal drip coffees, but this includes espresso based drinks too. I've even gotten them to make espresso from beans that were "really difficult to balance." This means that you can either find some favorites and rotate between them or try a new coffee each time you go and not get tired of it. This kind of setup is what I recommend to all who really want to try coffee and all it has to offer. It's just an added bonus that there's not another cafe that can compete in that area or the neighboring areas.
