Best Turkish ice-cream and paella in the area

Since opening its doors earlier in the year in a remote area of rural Saitama, D&S has already established itself as one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Saitama. Their most popular dish seems to be the paella and the Turkish ice-cream receives great acclaim too. The staff speak a number of languages, but the main waiter converses mainly in English, but he does speak Japanese too. I had the pasta dish on my last visit as I was sharing with my two year old. I tried some of my friend's Moussaka and it was extremely delicious. This is the only restaurant I have been to that serves Moussaka. The pasta was really good too and my two year old really enjoyed it. They brought out a little kid's chair for her to sit on which she was delighted with. We were in the tatami area which is decorated in Persian rugs with lots of soft cushions. There are tables too, as well as outdoor seats and a small garden. The restaurant is difficult to get to by public transport. By car it is close to the Kawajima Interchange of the Ken-o expressway. They have free parking for about 15 cars.
