Charmy is another great store at the Apita Niigata Nishi shopping complex for anyone looking for cute character goods. They have a nice selection to pick from, including plenty of Sanrio things, Pokemon plushies, Sumikko Gurashi, Miffy, and more. I think it's a great spot to grab gifts for any loved ones back home who have an interest in Japan's kawaii culture because there's plenty of adorable stuff on offer. I also like that there's a good amount of things that aren't too heavy to mail!
