Sports park with indoor and outdoor facilities including skate park and playground

The park is quite vast with a number of different facilities and grounds, including one of only a handful of skate parks in Saitama. The Skate Park, the Big Turtle sports hall and the Wanpaku playground are all located in Sengenyama, but they are considered their own entities and are managed separately. Sengenyama park outdoor sports facilities include an athletics track, a soccer pitch, a softball pitch, a baseball field and 10 tennis courts; some are clay, some are lawn tennis courts. Most of each of these have a viewing area. The track and pitches have seated viewing. The facilities can be booked through the official city page. The hours of use vary between each with the pitches and baseball field open the longest; from 8.30 am to 9 pm. The tennis courts and soccer and softball pitches are open from 8.30 am to 5 pm. However, the tennis courts sometimes have extended hours until 9 pm. Each of these facilities cost money to use. Apart from the sporting facilities the park has some nice landscaped areas and some well maintained flora and fauna. It also has some statues and one of its landmarks is the Steam Locomotive train in the middle of the park. It is an actual steam locomotive train that I believe was used on the Chichibu line, but is no longer in use. The park has a number of different entrances and exits. Parking is in various locations too. There are public toilets and different points in the park.
