Really nice special occasion restaurant
Longrain is situated on the 39th floor of the Ebisu Garden Place building, and it's a really nice spot for a special occasion lunch or dinner if you're in the area. Aside from the delicious foods, the views you get over the surrounding area from being up that high are really beautiful! I had been excited to try this place out since I heard of it opening in Tokyo, since it's "Australian" inspired Thai food. There are a few different options when it comes to your ordering - and there are different menus for weekdays and weekends so just bear that in mind too! I'd recommend if you visit on a weekend to go hungry, and to get the Longrain lunch which gives you an appetizer, salad, meat dish, main and dessert, priced at 3500 yen. There are smaller lunch sets too that offer a salad, a main, and a dessert, but the 3500 yen lunch set had a lot of their signature items included within the set making it hard to go past! The crying tiger meat dish was probably my favorite - it's grilled flank steak served with a dipping sauce that's said to be so hot that it can make a tiger cry. It definitely had some kick but made my tastebuds very happy!
