Super Cute Succulent Themed Cafe
Very close to Dazaifu station there's a JA yaoya I wanted to stop by. Right before I got there, I found this adorable new cafe. The colorful murals covering the walls and tons of potted cacti and succulents caught my eye. The owner said she opened six months ago when I asked if it was a new cafe. I haven't been in the neighborhood for a while but would have noticed it before. The whole place was full of character and cuteness, but it's not on the main touristy street leading to Dazaifu Tenmangu. I had to go in and look around, even though I didn't have time to stay for a drink. The menu has things like sweet pancakes and coffee. Some items were discounted on the signboard but the owner seemed bored with no customers. It wasn't lunchtime or anything, but cafes are usually crowded in the afternoon. It's open from 9am to 7pm. There are also tons of creatively potted cacti and succulents for sale. Super cute. I recommend it instead of the crowded cafes on the main road!
