Sin Den knows your hair
I’ve been going to Sin Den for hair care for over ten years now. The stylists listen to their clients and provide excellent service. They are familiar with a wide variety of hair textures, so no matter what kind of hair you have, they can adapt and provide appropriate cuts and colors. Even better, the staff are almost all bilingual, so while they take care of your image, they make time to chat in either English or Japanese (and some speak other languages).

Excellent English speaking salon in Tokyo
I've had my fair share of hair disasters here in Japan, including awkward cuts not styled to my hair and colors gone wrong. If you want to avoid the pain of that, I recommend Sinden. The store itself is tucked away on a backstreet, which makes it already feel like a relaxed spot (which is nice in Tokyo as an introvert!). The building itself is super cool and gave me good vibes that they'd know what they were doing! My stylist, Hiro, was a gem - he was super professional, I showed him a few styles I like and he just went with it - and I loved my new cut. Even my husband was like "wow, your hair looks great", and when your husband really notices your hair you know you've found a winner. I also got a fun manicure and pedicure done - I didn't catch the lady's name who did my mani and pedi but she did such a great job! If you need some pampering and you're in the Tokyo area, pay them a visit. I live in Niigata and I'll be back, it's worth the train trip down! As a cost FYI: My hair was 7000 yen Mani (shellac) was 8500 yen (included nail art) Pedi (shellac) one color was 7500 yen
